A coffee table-style book, Lynchburg College: More Than Books and Bricks, provides an inside look at Lynchburg College – what it is today as well as a glimpse at the past. The new book is available in the Lynchburg College Bookstore and Givens Books.

Written by LC alumnae and public relations staff members Carolyn Austin Eubank and Betty Cooper McKinney, the 160-page book includes a brief historical overview and chapters featuring academics, spiritual life and the College’s relationship to the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), athletics, campus life, community outreach, alumni, the Centennial celebration, and Centennial Hall, all illustrated by more than 200 color and black-and-white photos. The book also features profiles of some of the most beloved faculty and coaches from the past, as well as testimonies from many of those who know the College best.

The book sells for $36.70, including tax and may also be ordered online at http://www.lynchburg.edu/prebuilt/bookstore/catalog.htm.
