The Lynchburg College Student Health Center is nurse-directed, operating under the direct medical supervision of Forest Family Physicians (a group of Family Practice physicians). The Student Health Center nurses are experienced RNs skilled in the assessment and treatment of health issues concerning college students. Serious illnesses are referred to the nurse practitioner, the physicians, or to other appropriate health care providers. The highly qualified and caring staff members enjoy working with college students and find college health nursing to be both challenging and rewarding.
