~Panel for Perspectives on Hunger and Homelessness sponsored by the Bonner Leader Program. 7-9 p.m. Hopwood Auditorium.
~ Hump Day in Support of Solidarity Sleepers 11 p.m.-5 a.m. Contact Ashley Payne for forms and to sign up.
Thursday November 12
~ Learn how the Federal Census affects Hunger and Homelessness issues.
The SERVE Office will be providing information on the 2010 Census Burton Dining Room foyer lunch and dinner.
Friday November 13
~ Put together Backpacks of school supplies for Underprivileged Youth 1-3 p.m. Bonner Leader Room. Contact Vince Milone to sign up to help.
School supply donations being accepted between November 1-November 14 in SERVE Office and Bonner Room.
Saturday November 14
~ Package 20,000 meals to feed the hungry overseas, live music. Contact SERVE Office to volunteer. Only Fifty Volunteers can go. You can buy a ticket for $20 in the OSA Office. Check out the bands at www.sacredriverpresents.org
~ Lynchburg College Choral Union & Concert Choir Food Bank Benefit Concert 7:30 p.m. Snidow Chapel. Volunteers are need for collecting food and donations from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Contact SERVE to volunteer.
Be a Team Captain for Salvation Army Bell Ringing
Contact the SERVE office if you would like to lead your organization or your department as a team captain with the Salvation Army Bell Ringing. Days are available November 13 through December 24 ,Monday-Saturday (no Sundays). Come to the SERVE Office or call us at 434/544-8470 to sign up for a day.
