Emory & Henry Outscores LC Men 141-98

EMORY, VA – The Emory & Henry College men’s basketball team defeated Lynchburg College Saturday night 141-98 in an Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) game.
Drew Norris (Richmond, VA/Steward School) led Lynchburg with 22 points and Steven Echols (Martinsville, VA/Carlisle) had 16. Danny Reed (Adamstown, MD/Tuscarora), Evan Fancourt (Greensboro, NC/Grimsley) and Sean Sutherland (Alexandria, VA/Commonwealth) each had nine points.
Adam Hart netted 22 points and Robert Hudson posted 21 on 6-13 shooting from behind the three-point stripe. The Wasps (6-3/2-1 ODAC) led 71-40 at the half, and 56 of their 96 shots were three-point attempts. E&H forced 40 Lynchburg turnovers.
The Hornets (2-5/1-2 ODAC) are off until December 29-30, when they compete at the Marietta College Tournament (OH).
