Danny Reed
 Freshman forward Danny Reed (Adamstown, MD/Tuscarora) led the Lynchburg College men’s basketball team to a 1-1 record in its first two games of the season at the Westminster College Buzz Ridl Classic. In a 101-83 win Friday against Westminster, he had 22 points and corralled 11 rebounds, and followed with 16 points and seven rebounds in a tight loss to Roberts Wesleyan. Reed was named to the all-tournament team, averaging 19 points, nine rebounds while shooting 62% from the floor.
