Dara Sandifer and Katie Warlick Named to All-ODAC Volleyball Team

SALEM, VA – Lynchburg College juniors Dara Sandifer (Monroe, VA/Holy Cross) and Katie Warlick (Stafford, VA/Colonial Forge) each recently earned second-team All-Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) volleyball honors.

Sandifer, a setter, broke the LC 16-year-old record for assists in a season this year. She posted 1,126 - surpassing Jennifer Angus’ former record set in 1990, and led the conference in the category. Sandifer played in 108 games this season and was third on the team with 39 service aces and fourth with 221 digs.

Warlick, an outside hitter, led the squad with 334 kills and had a .231 hitting percentage. She added 34 service aces and was second on the squad with 325 digs.

The Hornets finished the season 17-13 and had an eight-match winning streak late in the season.
