LYNCHBURG, VA – Brandon Flowers (Waynesboro, VA/Stuarts Draft) scored the game winner in the 98th minute to send the #2 seed Lynchburg College men’s soccer team to a 2-1 victory over visiting #7 seed Randolph-Macon College in the quarterfinals of the Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) Tournament.

Greg Ridout opened the scoring in the 52nd minute off a feed from Matt Garofalo to give Randolph-Macon a 1-0 edge. Matthew Lombardo (Virginia Beach, VA/Floyd Kellam) tied the game at 1-1 off a Maurwyn Bowen (Gaithersburg, MD/Seneca Valley) pass, and Lombardo would factor in on the game-winning goal by earning an assist on Flowers’ goal.
