Hornet Volleyball Takes Care of So. Virginia in Three Games

LYNCHBURG, VA – Junior Katie Warlick (Stafford, VA/Colonial Forge) posted 14 kills as the Lynchburg College volleyball team defeated visiting Southern Virginia University Tuesday evening 30-14, 30-25, 30-24.

Carrington Cardwell (Gladys, VA/Rustburg) had 11 kills and four blocks, Chelsea Jones (Richmond, VA/Monacan) had nine kills while Dara Sandifer (Monroe, VA/Holy Cross) had 20 assists and Kate Bauer (Falls Church, VA/Bishop O’Connell) had 16 assists.

Lynchburg (11-12) looks to reach the .500 mark for the 2006 season Thursday, traveling to Guilford College for an Old Dominion Athletic Conference match at 6:30 p.m.
