LC Head Tennis Coach Neal Cassidy Resigns

LYNCHBURG, VA – Lynchburg College head men’s and women’s tennis coach Neal Cassidy announced his resignation Thursday – effective immediately.

Cassidy compiled a career record of 40-36 in six years as the men’s tennis mentor. He was named the Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) coach of the Year in 2002 and led LC to a second-place conference finish in each of his first three seasons. He led the women’s team for four campaigns, compiling a win-loss record of 28-27.

A search for Cassidy’s replacement will begin immediately.
