Washington & Lee Defeats LC Volleyball in Three Games

LYNCHBURG, VA – The Washington & Lee University volleyball team defeated Lynchburg College 32-30, 30-19, 30-26 Tuesday evening in an Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) match.

Junior outside hitter Katie Warlick (Stafford, VA/Colonial Forge) posted a team-best 12 kills and added 11 digs for the Hornets. Freshman Chelsea Jones (Richmond, VA/Monacan) had eight kills and 12 digs, Dara Sandifer (Monroe, VA/Holy Cross) compiled 31 assists and nine digs and Ashley Martin (Charlottesville, VA/Western Albemarle) had 28 digs.

Lynchburg (7-11/3-4 ODAC) will compete in the Mary Baldwin College Tournament this Friday and Saturday.
