Hornets Sweep R-MWC in Volleyball 3-0

LYNCHBURG, VA – The Lynchburg College volleyball team defeated visiting Randolph-Macon Woman’s College 30-25, 30-24, 30-25 Tuesday evening in an Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) match.

Junior setter Dara Sandifer (Monroe, VA/Holy Cross) had 29 assists and five digs, while junior Katie Warlick (Stafford, VA/Colonial Forge) had eight kills and eight digs. Carrington Cardwell (Gladys, VA/Rustburg) also had eight kills and added five blocks, while Amanda Walsh (Forest, VA/Heritage) had seven kills.

Lynchburg (5-7/1-2 ODAC) travel to the University of Mary Washington Thursday for a non-conference match.
