Laura Christianson Named ODAC Field Hockey Player of the Week
SALEM, VA – Lynchburg College’s Laura Christianson (Virginia Beach, VA/Tallwood) was named the Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) Field Hockey Player of the Week for the week of September 11.
Christianson scored three times in Lynchburg's 7-0 win at Sweet Briar College on Thursday. Each of the attacker's tallies came in the first half of play to help the Hornets to a 2-0 week. For the season, Christianson boasts a team-best four goals and one assist for nine points.
The Hornets (3-1/1-0 ODAC) travel to Eastern Mennonite University Friday at 6 p.m. for an ODAC contest.
