Senior (2009): Had another fantastic season in the attack for the Hornets . . . posted 12 goals and seven assists for a total of 31 points . . . goal total was tied for sixth in the ODAC this season . . . posted multi-goal games against DePauw, Bridgewater and Virginia Wesleyan . . . 10th all-time in the Lynchburg College record book assist column, ending her career with 23 . . . named the Hornet of the Week for the week of Nov. 9 after scoring the game-winner in the ODAC Final against EMU . . . started and played in all 23 games as a senior.

Junior (2008): One the most dynamic players for the Hornets . . . uses good quickness and stick skills to get the ball up the field . . . has a knack for being around the rock . . . started the season on fire, as she scored six times in the first four games, including multi-goal games against Lebanon Valley and Franklin & Marshall . . . also scored twice against both York (PA) College and Eastern Mennonite in the ODAC finals . . . finished the season with 14 goals, seven assists and 35 points . . . her 35 points was second on the squad and fifth in the ODAC . . . fifth in the league in goals, and ninth in assists . . . played in 24 games for the season, starting 22 contests . . . posted game-winners against Mary Washington and Sewanee (TN) . . . was honored as the ODAC Player of the Week for week of Sept. 1, along with garnering LC Hornet of the Week honors for the same period.

Sophomore (2007): Started all 24 games for the Hornets in her second season . . . scored twice and dished out two assists . . . scored goals against Sewanee and Sweet Briar . . . helped LC obtain its second straight ODAC Championship in her sophomore season.

Freshman (2006): Played in eight games as a freshman midfielder . . . scored her first collegiate goal against Shenandoah University . . . handed out four assists, including three in a game against then Randolph-Macon Woman's College.

FunkhouserBefore LC: Was a high school standout for Melanie Haas and the Menchville HS Monarches . . . won four letters, as she was a starter her entire high school career.

Personal: Daughter of Roy and Kristie Funkhouser . . . has two brothers, Patrick and Jason . . . member of the Student-Athlete Advisory Counsil (SAAC) . . . majoring in nursing with a minor in health promotions.
