
Senior Defender2009 (Senior): Had a solid senior campaign for the Hornets . . . one of the first defensive substitutions . . . played in 14 games in 2009, getting the starting nod against Shenandoah, St. Mary's and Frostburg State . . . helped LC to a 7-0 record in the ODAC, contributing to a defense that surrendered only six goals in league play.
2008 (Junior): Played in five games after coming off hip surgery in the off season . . . defensively sound back liner with solid stick skills and strong knowledge of the game . . . got into games against Shenandoah, Bridgewater, York, and Roanoke.
2007 (Sophomore): Had a breakout season on the backline for the Hornets, as she helped LC to a ODAC Championship as a sophomore . . . played in 23 games on the season, starting in 18 of those contests . . . had one defensive save on the campaign, tying for the team lead . . . helped anchor a defense that allowed only 23 goals all season (24 games).
2006 (Freshman): Played in six games as she eased into the college game . . . collected no shots, goals or assists as a freshman.
Before LC: Was a four year letter winner and starter for the Royals of Earl L. Vandermeulen HS . . . was honored as an All-State, All-County and All-Conference selection at ELVHS . . . helped her squad to a Long Island Championship in 2004 and a County title in 2005 . . . also played women's hoops in high school.
Personal: Daughter of George and Mary Fleckenstein . . . has two brothers, Eric and John, and one sister, Karen . . . sports management major with a minor in journalism and public relations.
