Sophomore (2008): Voted LC Most Improved Runner in 2008 . . . started her sophomore season with a 39th place finish at the Madison Kiwanis Invitational in Hanover, IN, as she ran a 21:15 . . . was LC's top finisher in the JMU Open Classic, as Lindsay scampered across the line in 22:32 for 18th place . . . earned 52nd place with a 16:10 time at the Dickinson Long-Short Invite, as she trekked the short 4K course . . . came in 92nd at the Paul Short Invitational thanks to a 24:11 time . . . again topped the Hornets on the time page as she finished 38th at the Gettysburg Invitational with a time of 24:15 . . . scored for LC in the ODAC Championship meet, running a 23:55 for 18th place overall . . . came in 57th place at the South/Southeast Regional meet held in San Antonio, TX . . . her time of 23:55 at the ODAC Championships was the fourth-best in school history and her personal best on a 6K course.
Freshman (2007): Placed in the top-25 in six meets . . . posted top 6K times of 25:40 and 25:24 along with a top 5K time of 20:38 . . . set, at the time, the 10th best 6K time in school history with a time of 25:24 . . . earned LC Most Dedicated Runner.
Before LC: Was a 12 letter winner for the Flucos of Fluvanna County High School and Head Coaches Rose Brogan and Jerome Hill . . . was voted most valuable runner, All-Jefferson District and also was a Sprint-Scholar Athlete . . . helped the Flucos qualify for the state tournament her senior season . . . was the school's Valedictorian in 2007.
Personal: Daughter of Duane and Lynn Fender . . . has one sister . . . cousin, Kip Campbell '03, was a an All-ODAC men's lacrosse player for LC . . . involved with SGA as a senator . . . LC Connection Leader.
