Sophomore
Sophomore (2008): Gutted out an injury-plagued season, but still managed to compete in a handful of meets . . . finished 15th in the team's first outing of the year, as she ran a 25:02 at the Blue Marlin Invitational . . . placed an impressive 13th at the Madison-Kiwanis Invite after she booked a time of 20:20 on the 5K jaunt . . . didn't run in the ODAC Championships.
Freshman (2007): Recorded five top-25 finished . . . ran a top 6K time of 24:59 and a top 5K time of of 20:19 . . . sat in 7th place at LC with a 6K time of 24:59.
Before LC: Excelled for the Cavaliers of W.T. Woodson HS in Northern VA . . . won 11 letters in cross country, swimming, gymnastics and track and field . . . was the XC MVP in 2003, along with garnering outdoor track MVP in 2004 . . . was the cross country Cavalier Sportsmanship Award winner in 2006 . . . XC team captain in 2006, as well as a four-time Scholar Athlete Award winner . . . was WTWHS swimming Rookie of the Year in 2004-05.
Personal: Daughter of Steve and Linda Galloway . . . has one brother . . . Dean's List in 2007 and 2008 . . . was a Student Scholar Showcase participant . . . member of LC Leads and Alliance for Energy Awareness (AFEA) . . . also runs track for the Hornets.
