Sophomore (2008): Had a solid sophomore season for the Lynchburg College women's cross country runners . . . voted MVP of the Hornet squad for 2008 . . . finished in 23rd place at the Madison-Kiwanis Invitational, netting a final time of 20:42 over the 5K course . . . came in 57th place at the JMU Open Classic, booking a final time of 26:40 . . . top LC finisher at the Dickinson Long-Short Invitational, as she finished 29th with a 15:36 on the 4K course . . . topped all Hornet scorers at the Paul Short Invite, as she posted a 23:22 for 49th place, which at the time was the second-best time in Hornet history on a 6K course . . . placed in 47th place on the 6K course at the Gettysburg Invite, running a 24:32 . . . saved her best race for the ODAC Championships meet, as she finished third overall with a time of 22:12, which is the LC 6K all-time record, good for All-ODAC honors . . . came in 21st place at the Regional meet, running a 23:49 down in San Antonio, TX.
Freshman (2007): Placed in the top 15 in five of seven meets . . . posted top 6K times of 25:52, 25:17 and 24:10 and top 5K times of 19:33 and 19:38 . . . finished eighth at the ODAC Championships, earning All-ODAC accolades . . . came in 15th place at the 2007 South/Southeast Regional meet . . . tied for ninth on all-time 5K list with a time of 19:33 . . . voted LC women's Freshman of the Year.
Before LC: Was a soccer player at Glendale HS in Springfield, MO . . . earned four letters for soccer head coach Jeff Rogers . . . was the school's Valedictorian in 2006.
Personal: Daughter of Thomas and Susan Meyer . . . has one sister . . . is a Biomedical Science major . . . Dean's List in 2007 and 2008 . . . Westover Honors Society . . . member of Kappa Delta sorority . . . member of Phi Eta Sigma, Phi Kapp Phi, and Omicron Delta Kappa Honor Societies . . . also runs track for the Hornets.
