Using the Non-Profit Directory
Lynchburg College's Non-Profit Directory is a database listing opportunities for community-based research projects, internships, and volunteer opportunities at area non-profit organizations. It also lists media needs for use by LC's Donovan Media Development Center.
For the purposes of conducting community-based research, this directory can be used to find local non-profit organizations in need of research. In many instances community partners already have ideas for research within their organization and those are listed in the directory. Faculty members and students with ideas for community-based research may also use the directory to identify potential partners in the community who may benefit from collaboration.
