Brittany AllsopAllsop concluded her career as a three-year starter in centerfield . . . Not only was Allsop an excellent player on the field, she excelled off the field, earning ODAC Scholar Athlete of the Year in 2009 and is a three-time winner of the Lynchburg College Female Scholar Athlete of the Year award . . . Brittany boasts a career batting average of .376 and broke the school record for career games with 178, besting the previous record of 170 held by Caroline Cubbage '07

Senior (2009): Started all 47 games in centerfield . . . had team-highs of .374 batting average, 139 at bats, 50 runs, 52 hits, 24 walks, .473 onbase percentage, and 17 stolen bases . . . also belted out a career-high three homeruns while knocking in two runners.

Junior (2008): Finished second on the team with a .382 batting average as she started all 47 contests . . . boasted team-highs of 165 at bats. 43 runs, 63 hits, seven doubles, three triples, and 13 stolen bases . . . drove in 24 runs and posted a .419 onbase percentage. Honors: Earned second-team all-conference and all-region accolades . . . nabbed Fayetteville Region All-Tournament honors . . . repeated as a first-teamer on the CoSIDA All-Academic District squad.

Sophomore (2007): Emerged as the full-time starting center fielder . . . played in all 49 contests and posted a .390 batting average, good for second on the team . . . had a team-high 159 at bats and 62 hits. Honors: A second-team All-ODAC and all-state selection . . . also named to the conference's all-tournament team . . . earned a slot on the 2007 CoSIDA All-Academic District First-Team squad.

Freshman (2006): Played in 35 games and started 17 . . . proved to be a good defensive outfielder and also a threat on the base paths with 10 stolen bases.

Personal: The daughter of Jeffrey and Melita Allsop.
