Hornet Men’s Lax Ranked Second in NCAA Division III

LYNCHBURG, VA – The Lynchburg College men’s lacrosse team climbed to #2 in the nation this week in the latest Inside Lacrosse  Division III poll.

Lynchburg, ranked #3 last week, defeated Virginia Wesleyan College 15-7 on Saturday in an Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) game. The second-ranked team, Gettysburg College, fell 13-7 at #1 Salisbury and dropped down to #5.

Lynchburg (8-0) travels to #16 Hampden-Sydney College (5-3) Saturday for an ODAC game at 1 p.m. before heading to Maryland April 11 to square off with top-ranked Salisbury. The Hornets set a program-record with their eighth-straight win against VWC.
