Third-Ranked LC Men’s Lax Defeats Virginia Wesleyan 15-7
Hornets Set School Record with Eight-Straight Wins

VIRGINIA BEACH, VA – The third-ranked Lynchburg College men’s lacrosse team won its program-record eighth-straight game Saturday, 15-7, over Virginia Wesleyan College in an old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) game.

Sophomore Ryan Cranston (West Chester, PA/Henderson) scored four goals while Johnny Black (Timonium, MD/St. Paul’s) and A.J. Tinklepaugh (Annandale, VA/W.T. Woodson) each had three. Adam Gift (Centreville, Westfield) scored twice and Tyler Tolson (Lutherville, MD/Loyola Blakefield), Stephen Weis (St. Louis, MO/Christian Brothers) and Kyle McGuire (Burke, VA/Robinson) scored once.

The Hornets (8-0) will be tested Saturday at #18 Hampden-Sydney College. The ODAC match-up is set to begin at 1 p.m.
