LC Lax Defeats Hollins 19-1

ROANOKE, VA – The Lynchburg College women’s lacrosse team breezed to a 19-1 Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) victory Wednesday at Hollins University.

Caitlin Green (White Hall, MD/Hereford) scored three times for LC, while Nichole Locher (Yorktown Heights, NY/Yorktown) had two goals and three assists. Lindsey Robb (Delanco, NJ/Shawnee) posted two goals and two assists, while Cressita Bowman (Dallas, TX/Greenhill), Shannon Smith (Marshall, VA/Osborn Park) and Sarah Rahl (Kennebunk, ME/Kennebunk) each found the back of the net twice. Kelly Vornadore (Springfield, VA/Bishop Ireton) had three assists. Ji-Young Eun (Fairfax, VA/W.T. Woodson) made six stops.

Lynchburg (5-2/3-1 ODAC) hosts Randolph-Macon College Saturday at 1 p.m.
