Lynchburg College to Host a Pair of Youth Lacrosse Games Saturday

LYNCHBURG, VA – The Lynchburg College men’s lacrosse team will host two youth area boys lacrosse games this Saturday – before the Hornets battle Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) foe Washington & Lee University on Shellenberger Field at 2 p.m.

The James River Day School junior varsity will play Roanoke City at 9:30 a.m. while the James River Day School varsity team square off with Roanoke City at 11 a.m.

"Lacrosse is continuing to grow in the Lynchburg area," said LC head men’s lacrosse coach Steve Koudelka. "We are excited to help promote the growth of the sport in our area."

The Hornet varsity team is 6-0 on the season and ranked fourth in the latest United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association Division III poll
