International students and scholars represent thirty-one countries at Lynchburg College including The Bahamas, Kenya, India, St. Lucia, Germany, Columbia, South Korea, Ghana, Tanzania, Mexico, Sudan, Argentina, Ukraine, and many other nations. MACS provides an expansive orientation program to help students become acclimated to the College and community. MACS also provides immigration advising and processing for our foreign students and scholars.
International affiliates include those students who are legal residents of the United States but hold non-U.S. or dual citizenship. Currently, these students represent countries such as Canada, Bolivia, Iran, Nigeria, Spain, Greece, Ethiopia, Vietnam, Laos, and others.
International Societyis made up of students, faculty, and staff who share an interest for cultural diversity and international education. Any member of the Lynchburg College community is welcome to be a part of this recognized organization.
- This active group sponsors or co-sponsors various programming throughout the year including Hispanic Heritage celebrations, an International Food Festival and Study Abroad Fair, International Education Week activities, dances, speakers, and conference opportunities.

The International House (IH) is a multicultural living environment owned by the College and located adjacent to campus at 214 Bell Street.
- It is a two-story house offering amenities which include a fully equipped kitchen, living room, dining room, six bedrooms (three singles and three doubles), two full bathrooms, wireless Internet service, cable television, washer and dryer, and a private parking lot.
- The occupancy of this co-ed facility is nine students including the MACS graduate assistant who serves as house program director.
- Applications for residency in IH are accepted during spring semester in conjunction with general housing sign-ups.
- Application is open to all full-time LC students but preference is given to international students who may need year-round occupancy.

Parade of Nations
- International students and affiliates are invited to participate in this event. The flags of their home countries are processed in and displayed during special events and formal ceremonies such as New Student Convocation and Commencement. This program not only adds beauty and interest to the event, but also portrays the diversity Lynchburg College students bring to campus.
