Steven Scott (Chesterfield, VA/Manchester) had an outstanding week for the Hornet baseball squad, leading the Hornets to a 3-1 record, and a 2-1 mark at the prestigious Rawlings Tournament.
Last week, Scott batted .500 (9-18) with three homeruns, two doubles and nine runs batted in. He also slugged at a 1.111 clip and was on base 53 percent of the time, and posted 20 total bases, all team highs for last week. Scott also made all nine plays in center field.
The Lynchburg College Hornet of the Week is selected each Monday by the department of athletics. A student-athlete is eligible to win the award just once per season. |
