#44 Elizabeth Foskey
Elizabeth Foskey, a junior goalie from Williamsburg, VA, helped the Hornets to a 2-0 record this week which extended the team’s winning streak to 10. Against Old Dominion Athletic Conference front-runner Virginia Wesleyan College on Saturday, she made three saves to preserve a 2-0 shutout win. On Sunday, Foskey played over 90 minutes in net against St. Mary’s College and made nine saves as LC won in double overtime 2-1.
The Lynchburg College Hornet of the Week is selected each Monday by the department of athletics. A student-athlete is eligible to win the award just once per season. |
