Phi Sigma Iota

Qualified students are eligible to become nominated to Phi Sigma Iota, the International Foreign Language Honor Society.

Phi Sigma Iota recognizes outstanding accomplishment in the study or teaching of any of the academic fields related to foreign language, literature, or culture. Phi Sigma Iota is the highest academic honor in the field of foreign languages.

Students are inducted into the organization during the spring semester of their junior or senior year.

 

Induction Ceremony

On February 7, 2011, Lynchburg College held its annual ceremony for new inductees into the Phi Sigma Iota Honor Society in the Alumni Lounge. Please congratulate the students on their membership.
