Shellenberger Field

At the heart of the Lynchburg College athletic facilities is Shellenberger Field. Named for the former men's soccer coach, Bill Shellenberger, it is home to the LC men's and women's soccer, men's lacrosse and men's and women's track and field teams. The facility features a large natural turf field, a state-of-the-art six-lane track and a 2,500 capacity for spectators. At one end of the field also stands the Lynchburg Victory Tower.
