Placement Testing
Placement tests are required only for incoming students who intend to take calculus (or indicated an interest in a major which requires calculus) and/or intend to take French, German, Latin, or Spanish in their first year. All students needing to take one or more placement tests will be notified through email with log-in instructions.
Foreign Language Placement Testing
Students who have taken French, German, Latin, or Spanish in high school and will continue taking the same language at LC must take the Foreign Language Placement Test to determine the level at which they will begin their foreign language study.
Math Placement Testing
Only those students who plan to take calculus or are interested in a major requiring calculus must take the Math Placement Test to determine at which math level to begin.
NOTE:If you have trouble logging into Moodle or need additional assistance to complete the assessment or placement tests, there will be time to take the placement test available at each SOAR session.

Click the above link to access Moodle. Log-in information will be provided for you if you indicated on your schedule preference form that you would like to take calculus, Latin, French, or Spanish in your first year. All other students will get their user name at SOAR.
