Thomas C. Brickhouse (Brickhouse@lynchburg.edu) is interested primarily in ancient philosophy. He is the co-author of numerous articles on Socrates and Plato, as well as three books: Socrates on Trial (Oxford University Press and Princeton University Press) Plato's Socrates (Oxford University Press), and Socrates the Philosopher (Westview Press). His areas of interest also include philosophy of mind and philosophy of law.
Lesley Friedman (Friedman@lynchburg.edu) has published articles on C.S. Peirce, Hume, Berkeley, and Descartes. She is also a contributor to Pragmatism: An Annotated Bibliography 1898-1940. Her areas of interest include American philosophy, modern philosophy, epistemology, and metaphysics.
Laura Kicklighter (Kicklighter@lynchburg.edu) joined the Lynchburg College faculty in 2005. Dr. Kicklighter holds a doctorate in medical humanities from the University of Texas and a master of theological studies from Emory University. Her professional and research interests include religious ethics, religion and medicine, and religion and democracy. She is on the faculty in the Philosophy and Religious Studies programs.
Ronald Martin's (Martin.r@lynchburg.edu) areas of specialization include biomedical ethics, business ethics, existentialism, and aesthetics.
