"LC Cares" Food Drive
Many older citizens have been impacted by the recession and rising costs for electricity, food, and medicine.
To help our local senior citizens, LC students, faculty, and staff collected 2,088 pounds of food this fall.
Beard Center on Aging
The mission of the Center on Aging reflects Lynchburg College's commitment to understanding and addressing issues of aging and the needs of older citizens.
Our programs center around community education and outreach involving students and faculty with older individuals of Central Virginia. The Center offers unique opportunities that directly involve students in research initiatives, meaningful outreach, educational programs, and professional conferences.
