Istoria Journal

Istoria, the student historical research journal, was founded in 2009 as a peer-reviewed journal that publishes scholarly papers produced by undergraduate and master's students. The goal is to provide a forum for students who have engaged in sustained research projects to share their findings with the wider community of scholars-in-training.

Istoria accepts submissions from students from institutions across the United States. The journal is run by an editorial board that consists of three members of the Lynchburg College History Department faculty, one graduate student, and one to two undergraduates. Together this board makes all publication decisions.

Istoria is published twice yearly. The submission deadline for the spring issue is December 10 and the submission deadline for the fall issue is May 15.
