Since 1973, Lynchburg College has had an active history club known as Istoria. The club is open to all students interested in history, whether they are majors or not.
The major activities include Trivia Nights and tours of historical places such as nearby Thomas Jefferson's Poplar Forest or the Holocaust Museum in Washington, D.C.
The club is student run, however, it receives support from the History Program. The current membership is approximately fifteen members. If you are interested in joining the club or attending a planned event, please e-mail Dr. Kirt von Daacke or Dr. Scott Amos.
