Hornet Men's Track Travels to Hokie Invitational

BLACKSBURG, VA - The Lynchburg College men's indoor track and field team traveled to Virginia Tech Friday evening for the first day of the Hokie Invitational. The event will conclude Saturday.

Brandon DemersJunior Brandon Demers (pictured left - Cypress, TX/Leonardtown) ran the 3,000 meters in 9:00.34 and sophomore Craig Burkholder (Harrisonburg, VA/Turner Ashby) completed the 60-meter hurdles in 9.04. The Hornets had two competitors record good performances in the weight throw, as Daniel Reid (Hamilton, MA/Hamilton-Wenhom) had a heave of 51'8" and John Michael Pavia (Forest, VA/Jefferson Forest) had a throw of 50'7 ¼".
