When students and alumni talk about Lynchburg College, they often use the word "family." And when you have a big family like ours, you need a big house. During the most recent strategic planning process, we took stock of our physical facilities and realized that our "house" has many great places to work but not enough places to play. As Dean of Students John Eccles puts it, "We have a lot of small areas where students can hang out, but not a big one where they can congregate and participate in activities, and where ideas can bubble up and germinate." |
