Signey Milks Named NFHCA Division III Senior All-Star

Signey Milks Named NFHCA Division III Senior All-Star 

            LYNCHBURG, VA - Signey Milks (Gloucester, VA/Gloucester), a captain and senior midfielder on the Lynchburg field hockey team, was selected by the National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) as a Senior All-Star.

            Milks has received numerous accolades throughout her career at LC.  The past two seasons she has been named All-ODAC First Team and All-State First Team.  Signey is the daughter of Steve and Tammy Milks, and she is a nursing major. 

            Along with the honor comes the opportunity to play in the 2009 NFHCA Division III Senior All-Star Game.  The game will be played at 9:30 a.m. on Sunday, November 22, 2009 at Mount Holyoke College in South Hadley, MA.

            LC (15-4) will take on Randolph-Macon College Tuesday evening at 6 p.m. in the semi-final round of the Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) Tournament.
