Hunter Smith Named to 2009 Academic All-District Men’s Soccer 2nd Team

Hunter Smith Named to 2009 Academic All-District Men's Soccer 2nd Team

Smith honored with College Sports Information Director Association Award

Hunter SmithLYNCHBURG, VA - Hunter Smith (Goode, VA/Jefferson Forest) was named to the 2009 Academic All-District men's soccer 2nd team by COSIDA. 

Hunter is a junior defender and captain on the LC men's soccer team.  He has been a repeated threat both on the pitch and in the classroom throughout his college career.  Smith has started all 18 games so far this season, and he has found the back of the net three times.  Boasting a solid GPA of 3.49, Smith is a double major in physics and math.

Hunter and the rest of the Hornet squad will travel to Hampton-Sydney, VA on Wednesday, November 4th to take on Hampton-Sydney College in the semi-final match of the ODAC tournament.
