Lynchburg College Hornet of the WeekSenior men's cross country runner Ricky Flynn (Lynchburg, VA/Damascus) earned his third consecutive Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) men's cross country individual championship this weekend in Salem, VA. His time of 26:45 was 44 seconds better than the next closest competitor and his dominance of the field helped propel the Hornets to their second-consecutive and 14th overall ODAC Championship. He became just the second ODAC runner to ever win three consecutive titles and just the third overall to win three total titles. Earlier this season, Ricky Flynn broke his own school record for the fastest 8K time ever with a time of 24:43 to win the Paul Short Invite.
