Sophomore midfielder Brittany Klippstein (Springfield, VA/West Springfield) posted a hat trick Saturday evening as LC breezed t
o a 3-0 victory over Eastern Mennonite University in ODAC play. Klippstein opened her scoring barrage at the 7:35 mark on an assist from senior Ashley Hoath, and followed at 13:09 with her second tally from Kristen Melchiori. Klippstein used her head to complete the hat trick on a cross from junior Lauren Hammond midway through the second half.
She also tallied a goal and an assist at Sweet Briar on Wednesday. For the season, Klippstein leads the squad with seven goals and six assists.
