W. GEORGE JAMESON

The School of Business and Economics is pleased to announce that W. George Jameson will present the first Gifford Lecture in Ethics on Wednesday, November 11, 2009, as part of its new Business Ethics Lecture Series. Jameson is retired from the CIA's Senior Intelligence Service and is a former Director of the CIA's Office of Policy and Corporate Coordination. His presentation, Ethics and National Security: Striking a Balance in Decision Making, will begin at 8 p.m. in the Memorial Ballroom, Hall Campus Center, and is open to the public.

Mr. Jameson retired this year after more than three decades of service as an attorney and manager in the CIA, the Office of the Director of National Intelligence, the Department of Justice, and the White House Counsel's Office. His responsibilities involved a wide range of matters involving intelligence policy and law, including operational, legislative, and ethical issues.
