LYNCHBURG, VA - Junior outside hitter Michelle Boucher (pictured left - Chesapeake, VA/Nansemond Suffolk) slammed 12 kills to lead the Lynchburg College volleyball team to a 25-15, 23-25, 25-19, 25-19 victory at Randolph College Monday evening.
Rebecca Loftis (Coventry, CT/Coventry) also was impressive at the net, blasting 11 kills in just 14 attempts and added four blocks. Elena Kritter (Culpeper, VA/Culpeper) accumulated eight digs, six kills and five service aces, and Brooke Moughon (Mathews, VA/Mathews) had 17 assists. Savannah Tinsley (Lynchburg, VA/E.C. Glass) added 15 digs.
The Hornets (15-6/6-1 ODAC) host Eastern Mennonite University Wednesday in Turner gymnasium.
