Hornet Volleyball Sweeps Mary Baldwin 3-0

            LYNCHBURG, VA - Elena Kritter (Culpeper, VA/Rappahannock), Rebecca Loftis (Coventry, CT/Coventry) and Marion Lozano (Manassas, VA/Seton Hill) each blasted nine kills Saturday afternoon as the Lynchburg College volleyball team defeated Mary Baldwin 25-15, 25-22, 25-20.

           Brooke Moughon Loftis added three blocks and two aces, while Kritter tied for a team-high with eight digs. Michelle Boucher (Chesapeake, VA/Nansemond Suffolk) scored eight kills and Brooke Moughon (pictured left - Mathews, VA/Mathews) and Alexis Foster (Franklin, VA/Southampton) had 15 and 10 assists, respectively. Savannah Tinsley (Lynchburg, VA/E.C. Glass) added eight digs and two service aces. The Fighting Squirrels fall to 3-19 overall.

            The Hornets (14-6) make the short trek across town to face Old Dominion Athletic Conference rival Randolph College Monday at 6:30 p.m.
