LEXINGTON, VA - Junior keeper Anna Wright (pictured below - Ashland, VA/Patrick Henry) recorded her fourth shutout of the season as the Lynchburg College women's soccer team battled to a 0-0 double overtime tie at Washington & Lee University in Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) play.

Anna Wright       The Generals, the top team in the conference standings, controlled much of the first-half action while outshooting LC 5-2 before intermission. Wright made both of her saves in the first 45 minutes.

The second half saw more opportunities for both teams, but the Hornets commanded the shot (9-5) and corner kick (6-4) categories. The defenses took over in both of the 10 minute overtime periods, as just one shot was attempted in the extra play and no corner kicks were awarded.

For the game, Lynchburg out-shot the Generals 12-10 and held a 7-4 edge in corner kicks. Emily Leary made four saves for Washington & Lee (9-1-1/7-0-1 ODAC).
