On Thursday October 1st members of the Lynchburg College men's lacrosse team took part in the Apple Harvest Festival at Paul Munro Elementary (pictured). Members of the team worked with all three Kindergarten classes and had several relay race activities lined up for the kids.
The previous weekend the entire team helped out at the Virginia Ten Miler. The team conducted the five mile mark of the race and ran the timing device, helped at a water station and cheered on runners as they made their way through Riverside Park.
"It is great for our team to give back to our local community in several different ways." Head coach Steve Koudelka.
