            LYNCHBURG, VA - Six different players scored Sunday afternoon as the Lynchburg College women's soccer team defeated Hollins University 6-0 in Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) play.

            The Hornets out-shot their hosts 19-1 in the first frame and took a 2-0 lead into intermission on goals from Katie Santos (Cheltenham, MD/Bishop Ireton) and Shawn Jackson (Virginia Beach, VA/Floyd E. Kellam). Lynchburg put the game out of reach with four goals in the final 30 minutes.

Freshman Sam Halbach (Tabernacle, NJ/Seneca) had a goal and two assists while Betsy Kwiatkowski (Mount Jackson, VA/Stonewall Jackson) added a goal and an assist. Danielle Crotty (Mason, OH/Mason) and Devon Harp (Lebanon, NJ/Voorhees) also found the back of the net.

Lynchburg (6-2-2/3-1 ODAC) hosts Roanoke College Wednesday at 7 p.m. in more conference action.
