Virginia Wesleyan Defeats LC Women 2-0

                VIRGINIA BEACH, VA - The Virginia Wesleyan College women's soccer team upset the #9 Lynchburg College 2-0 Saturday evening in an important Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) match-up.

                Junior Courtney Wharton scored both goals for the Marlins (6-3/3-1 ODAC). Other details were unavailable at press time.

                Lynchburg (4-2-2/2-1 ODAC) hosts Meredith College Wednesday at 5 p.m. in non-conference play.
