
Senior attack Allie Weir (Richmond, VA/James River) had a record-setting week for the Hornets, as she became the Lynchburg College all-time goals and points career leader, surpassing legend Phebe Phelps's marks of 106 goals and 227 points. Weir now sits with 108 goals in her career, while posting 230 points throughout her tenure at LC. Weir had a stellar week, scoring eight goals and assisting on two others for a total of 18 points. Tuesday afternoon against Mary Washington, Allie scored once and assisted on another goal in a 4-3 win over the Eagles. On Saturday, she scored four times and had one assist against DePauw. On Sunday, she notched her 14th-career hat trick with three goals in a 6-2 win over Denison. Weir broke the LC record for goals in a career with her second tally just before halftime, and also moved into third on the D-III career goals list.
