Two Hornet Hurlers Lead Summer League Team to National Title

Junior hurlers Bryan Breedlove (Suffolk, VA/Nansemond-Suffolk) and Conner Thompson (Solomons, MD/Reservoirs) led the Forest City Owls of the Coastal Plains League to a summer league title recently, and will be named summer national champions Wednesday by the Perfect Game Baseball website.

Senior pitcher Joe Devlin (Ashburn, VA/Broad Run) was named the 2009 Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) Co-Pitcher of the Year Wednesday, as announced by the league office and voted on by the ODAC head coaches.
