
Six Lynchburg College student-athletes were recognized recently as the Virginia Sports Information Directors Association announced that 213 collegiate student-athletes were honored for their performances both in the classroom and in competition as the organization selected the 2008-09 VaSID Academic All-State Team.
The Lynchburg College athletic department recently announced the team grade-point average awards that are released each summer. There are five awards - teams with 15 members and less (male and female), teams with 16 or more (male and female), and the Co-ed teams.
