Get Your Organization Involved

How does my organization become involved in Lynchburg Late Nites?

Every semester, recognized student organizations are given the opportunity to sign up to sponsor a Lynchburg Late Nite. Each organization is sent a letter giving them the details of the Lynchburg Late Nite program. The organizations are then given a list of dates available for the semester. The Office of Student Activities then compiles a schedule based on the preferred dates by each group. Given the limited number of dates, Lynchburg Late Nite event dates are given out on a first come first serve basis. Groups who do not receive a date, are placed on a waiting list. After a group has been given a specific date, they are notified as to when they will need to meet with the graduate assistant to begin planning the event. Each Lynchburg Late Nite is given a certain amount of money to fund their program. As an alcohol alternative program, Lynchburg Late Nites does not permit alcohol use by participants who are in attendance at the events.
