Spring 2009: Charlotte, Erin and John

In spring 2009, Charlotte Arbogast '10 and John Marks '10 experienced the vibrant cultures of Spain and Argentina while improving their language skills, and Erin Majerowicz '10 enjoyed university life and many adventures in Australia. Other LC students spent the semester in Australia, Panama, and the United Kingdom.

Charlotte improved her Spanish during her semester in Salamanca, Spain. Her study abroad program included a home-stay experience and excursions to cities throughout Spain, which allowed her to enjoy the Iberian country's varied beauty and landscapes. While abroad, Charlotte received a visit from her family and also traveled to Greece at Easter.

Erin went "Down Under" to Adelaide, Australia, where she and fellow LC student Hannah Cameron '10 took classes at a local university and experienced the sights, sounds, and flavors of Australian culture. Erin's travels took her to beautiful Perth in Western Australia and New Zealand.

John, like Erin, also experienced life in the Southern Hemisphere as he soaked up culture and improved his Spanish while studying in Buenos Aries, Argentina. Living with a host family enhanced John's cultural immersion, and John visited Uruguay, the Patagonia region of Argentina, and Chile.
